But I have been getting this same message:

[15:10:23] ERROR InterSocket - Error: Socket Open Failed, Host: news.astraweb.com Error Code: 10060 A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

Can anybody help me?

If you're trying to use SSL, The address has to be "ssl.astraweb.com"

Nope, that is not the problem, I am not using SSL.

Well it seems I have a very similar problem, I get an error message "Connect Error 10060" whenever I try to connect to one of the "regular" Astraweb server. It was connecting correctly yesterday night so it must be something that was updated yesterday at shutdown or a change in Astraweb server or something else.

Hope someone will point us in the right direction

It just came back normal, so it must have been a glitch on their server system
