connection problem

hi i keep getting error code 10060 with setup i use maximumusenet in the uk any help please ?

1 - What's the actual server address you entered?

2 - If the address is correct, this often indicates that a firewall on your PC is blocking Newsbin off the net.

quade i use maximumusenet server address support gave me was us-secure.maximumusenet.com or news.maximumusenet.com both seem to work only for a few minutes then the speed drops down to 220 kps and idles like this all the time firewall is allowing newsbin pro in so i am completley at a loss ! can you please send me a link as what might work please thanks

We have a FAQ with troubleshooting steps for connection problems in the Newsbin Help Pages

If you can't get it figured out, tell us what messages you are getting in the Logging tab within Newsbin. I see you have already contacted us over email so feel free to just reply to that email thread with any new information.

Is 10060 all that you see?

You emailed tech support I believe. This will be easier over email.
