6.40B5 Auto Update Stopping

I have been running 6.40B5 for a couple of days and left it running over night to discover that auto-update seems to work fine at first then stop working when its left, anyone else having this problem?

I'm pretty sure auto-update is completely broken in B5. I have a B6 in the wings. Maybe I should expedite it.
